But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

This month is the 50th anniversary of student-led riots against Charles de Gaulle. Today France is also wracked by unrest but there are genuine reasons to protest as Macron, unlike de Gaulle, is a real enemy of the working-class.
In many ways you could say it was the first attempt at a 'color-coded' regime-change. Charles de Gaulle was the honest soldier who had helped save his country three times, playing a heroic role in two world wars and coming to its rescue again in 1958 when the Fourth Republic hit the rocks.
The ostensible cause of the protests - overcrowding in student accommodation - was a result of the big expansion in higher education under de Gaulle. The university campus where the disturbances began, in the Paris suburb of Nanterre, had seen numbers rise from 2,000 in 1964, to 15,000 in 1968. Student leader Danny Cohn-Bendit later admitted: "It was a revolt not a revolution".
Proof of this can be seen by who was backing the students and who wasn't. French Communist Party leader George Marchais memorably described Cohn-Bendit and his fellow protestors as "sons of the upper bourgeoisie… who will quickly forget their revolutionary flame in order to manage daddy's firm and exploit workers there."
The Soviet Union also preferred de Gaulle - a man who supported détente with Moscow and who ran a quasi-socialist economy, to the 'left-wing' rioters. In 1998 the Irish Times reported on a memo sent from Valerian Zorin, the Soviet Ambassador to France, to Soviet Foreign Minister Andrey Gromyko and Boris Ponomarev, head of the International Department of the Communist Party. "Those [students] from the working class represent only 10 per cent, and what is more, the students are in the grip of leftist and Trotskyist elements," was Zorin's verdict.
In his biography of de Gaulle, Jonathan Fenby notes that Gaullist ministers believed that the students were being funded from abroad via Swiss bank accounts - with the sources of finance said to include the US, Israel and China, Cuba and Bulgaria. He also records how the US Ambassador to France, Sargent Shriver, noted the prospect of a new administration which would be "more positive, less grandiose and more in harmony with American policy". The Americans almost got what they wanted.

Translated: Brazil on Tuesday defended its decision to allow British military aircraft that fly to the Malvinas Islands to scale at Brazilian airports. This after Argentina was annoying about it.
Brazil's Foreign Ministry said that while supporting Argentina's sovereignty claims on the islands, this support does not affect its "important association" with Great Britain.
The Argentine ambassador in Brazil, Daniel Scioli, complained days ago by the increase of flights that stop in Brazil towards the Malvinas Islands.
Scioli said there were seven flights from the Royal Air Force in January that landed in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Porto Alegre.
"The Brazilian position authorizing the overflight and landing of British military aircraft on the Malvinas Route is guided by the principle of not contributing to the modernization and expansion of military resources and the warning potential of the United Kingdom in that archipelago," he said The Brazilian ministry.
The note said that Brazil authorized the landing and berth of aircraft and British boats on its way to the Falklands when the applications involved emergency situations, search and rescue missions or health and humanitarian reasons.
The chancellery said the amount of overall and landing authorizations granted to British military aircraft varied from one year to another; from 150 years until only 1 in others.
The British government dismissed Argentine concerns by saying that they were routine flights and that any affirmation of militarization was totally false.

The Malvinas are clearly inside the Spanish hemisphere, that claims all past and future discoveries.
Argentina invoked these treaties (Meridian: Tordesillas 1494 and Anti-Meridian: Zaragoza 1529) in the Malvinas-question.
Indirectly this was also agreed by the Ming dynasty. The kingdom of Portugal got a trade post in Macao, but the kingdom of Castile had to do the trade from the Philippines. It would be funny, if Xi Jinping would find an old agreement about this in the archives.
These treaties were renewed in several treaties during the 18th century by the Bourbons (now kings of Spain and France) and the kingdom of Portugal. All later changes could be seen as illegal intrusions by the British and Dutch.
It would be interesting to refer back to this old system for building a new "multi-polar" system of powers.

Honduras president stops eviction of indigenous community
https://archive.is/wip/9ZJet
https://www.rfi.fr/en/honduras-president-stops-eviction-of-indigenous-community
Dozens of police officers tried to evict 100 Lenca indigenous families as part of a land dispute
Police arrived at Tierras del Padre, a piece of land 10 kilometers (six miles) south of the capital Tegucigalpa,
with a judge and an eviction order stating the site belongs to a private individual.
The 200-hectare property is claimed by a businessman who intends to build 10,000 homes on the land.
representatives of the indigenous community say they have a deed registering ownership of the land that dates back to 1739.
"Please Xiomara. With my eyes closed, I gave her my vote. You are a mother, please don't take (the land) from us,"
The country's minister for human rights Natalie Roque and presidential adviser Pedro Amador
arrived at the scene on the orders of Castro, who only took power on January 27.
"We are not going to tolerate any aggression or blow against a pregnant woman or against a citizen or against a child,"
Amador said in a video circulated on social media.
"We are here because this community has the right to defense and protection," Roque said.
She added that the Honduran government was committed to defending "the rights of the most vulnerable populations."
A spokesperson for the community said talks were ongoing to postpone the eviction and achieve a fair outcome.
According to official figures in Honduras, there are about 600,000 members of the Lenca ethnic group,
which has inhabited the Americas since pre-Columbian times.

it makes it seem like Russia is replacing a new 'radar system' (into their current/older AWAC fleet of 36+ aircraft)
in fact...
the 'Beriev A-100 Premier' is actually an entirely new AIRCRAFT that includes this 'stealth penetrating' radar system.

The A-100 Premier
The weapon system is based on a Ilyushin Il-76MD-90A platform,
which carries a new Vega Premier active phase radar.
The aircraft proved to be within its specification,
with all its systems working normally despite the powerful electromagnetic radiation from the radar.
The Premier equipment likewise performed as intended, Rostec reported.
The test flight took place on Wednesday near Taganrog, a city in southern Russia,
at the facilities of the Beriev, according to RIA Novosti.
Beriev is a leading Russian aircraft manufacturer,
which produces under its brand name Ilyushin – aircraft designed for the Russian military.
The [current] fleet of several dozen Beriev A-50s,
the current Russian AEW&C aircraft that the A-100 is slated to replace,
were built between the mid-1980s and the early 1990s.
They have an older Vega-designed radar system, which Russia wanted to upgrade
to deal with new kinds of airborne threats and to boost the military’s capabilities to provide targeting to warplanes.
