Ukrainians are lucky to be European, they're being met with greater hospitality from European countries. Compare their welcome to that received by, say, the Middle Eastern refugees last year at the Belarus-Poland border. But who remembers that? It's ancient history now. pic.twitter.com/in4SPOSBWR

Re: #93 - Main news thread - conflicts, terrorism, crisis from around the globe
George W. Bush said he felt “that the French position was anti-American”,
and suggested that the country would be excluded from future summits of world leaders.
Then Secretary of State, Colin Powell, somewhat ominously said that France would face “consequences” for failing to support the US.
France’s stance also proved to be extremely unpopular amongst some members of the American public, and anti-French sentiment began to sweep the nation.
People began to boycott French products like wine and cheese. Companies started selling bumper stickers that read, “First Iraq. Then France.”
Organisations that place foreign exchange students complained that they were having difficulty finding US families willing to host French students.
The French-owned hotel chain Sofitel was forced to temporarily remove the French flags that hang outside their US hotels.
“We were getting some severe feelings and threats directed toward the safety and security of our employees and customers,” a Sofitel spokesperson told CNN at the time.

Sri Lanka Turns Off Street Lights As Energy Crisis Worsens; Fishermen Unable To Sail For Lack Of Fuel
https://archive.ph/RwYWr
The island nation of 22 million people is struggling with rolling power cuts for up to 13 hours a day
as the government is unable to make payments for fuel imports because of a lack of foreign exchange.
The energy-drained country expects a diesel shipment paid for under a $500 million line of credit from neighboring India
is expected to arrive on Saturday, but the situation isn't expected to improve any time soon, as power restriction will need to continue.
Water levels at reservoirs feeding hydro-electric projects had fallen to record lows,
while demand had also hit record levels during the hot, dry season.
if the situation doesn't improve soon, the small country's energy crisis could metastasize into a food crisis:
without fuel, the country's fishermen have been stranded on shore, unable to reel in the day's catch.
The ramifications are being felt by families across the country.

“No matter if they want it or not, they’ll have to negotiate a new financial order,” Medvedev said. “And the decisive voice will then be with those countries that have a strong and advanced economy, healthy public finances and a reliable monetary system. And not with those who endlessly inflate their public debt, issuing more and more pieces of paper into circulation which aren’t backed by national wealth.”

Russia and Ukraine export about a quarter of the global wheat trade, about a fifth of corn, and 12% of all calories traded globally.

UK Sleepwalking Into Food Crisis As Fresh Produce Set To Vanish From Supermarkets
https://archive.ph/wip/jOGqJ
https://www.zerohedge.com/commodities/uk-sleepwalking-food-crisis-fresh-produce-set-vanish-supermarkets
because of the inclement weather in the UK...
Farmers grow cumbers, plant peppers, aubergines, and tomatoes in vast greenhouses...
Greenhouses use natural gas for heat,
the crops have become uneconomical to produce.
►Green Acre Salads business, which supplies major supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Morrisons,
are [now] shuttered because costs outpace market prices.
In fact, the farmer would be losing money if he were to grow.
►European gas prices are up a mindboggling 500%
►Fertilizer prices have tripled
►soaring prices for everything related to running a grow operation: packaging, diesel, freight, labor.
"cost increases have far outstripped a grower's ability to do anything about them,"
90% of farmers didn't plant in January.
Others said they would not grow with elevated gas prices.
UK could increase imports of produce...
but countries worldwide are implementing protectionism measures to keep farm goods domestically to mitigate shortages.
Like many other countries worldwide, the UK is sleepwalking into a food crisis.

This is extremely interesting.
(1) Egypt.
(a) In Antiquity there were two "breadbaskets": Skythia, i.e. modern Ukraine and Egypt. Egypt lost its status as wheat exporting nation, when the English built the first Assuan dam and switched the economy from wheat to cotton. The dam destroyed the ground-water, because salty sea-water is intruding now into the delta. This needs to be reversed.
(b) An uprising in Egypt and the toppling of the traitor as-Sisi would change everything. This would get very bloody, because the military is completely dependent from US and the money coming in from US to stick to the peace-treaty with the Zionist regime. If there is a hunger-revolt, it would come from the lowest level of the society and they are strictly anti-Zionist.
(2) Lebanon is close to a breakdown anyhow. So this would be the lynch-pin. And then Hezbollah would be forced to take over openly. This would mean war with the Zionist regime.
(3) Pakistan is now in a serious crisis anyhow and Imram Khan could lead an anti-American movement. Yemen is under naval blockade. This would bring Argentina and Brazil into play. They could easily supply Yemen and Pakistan.
All of this would lead to a great shift against the globalist West.
