Long story short - Crimea was given to Ukraine by Khrushchev in 1954. Khrushchev was Ukrainian and this act was nothing but symbolic gesture as Ukraine was a part of USSR. So it was nothing like giving a teritorry to foreign country.
After Gorbatchev successfully dismantled USSR, togehter with the Eastern Bloc, and thus finished one of the main globalist goals, many regions refused te became part of newly "independent" countries. One of them was Crimea. If I remember it correctly, then there were even referendums calling for Crimean independence. But was largerly neglected by Kiev and still Crimeans were seen as 2nd grade citizens, especially by Ukrainian nationalists and Bandera worhippers.
That's what I can put together off the top of my head.

What I could find on a German site (really informative German-language sources are very well hidden) should be incorporated into a short chronological sequence of events from about 1990 to 1992 in a really understandable way. If something significant happened between 1992 and 2014, then this is of course also interesting. But first of all, I am interested in the status of Crimea at that time and how it came about. By what measure, Crimea became Ukrainian, despite striving for independence. It will probably not have been completely voluntary.

Translation of the larger text block:
"The Crimean Peninsula belongs to the Russian SFSR and on June 30, 1945 is downgraded from an ASSR (Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic) to an Autonomous Territory. On February 19, 1954, the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union decides to annex Crimea to the Ukrainian SSR, where it remains an autonomous Territory. At the end of 1990, the Supreme Soviet of Crimea decides to hold a referendum on the upgrade to the ASSR on January 20, 1991. The Supreme Soviet of Ukraine gave Crimea this status on February 13, 1991.
Final result of January 23, 1991. In the vote on the independence of Ukraine on December 1, 1991, only 54.2% approve in the Crimea.
Voting question:
"Do you want the Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic of Crimea to be restored as part of the USSR?"
......
It is still one of the main arguments here in Germany to condemn Russia for this "war of aggression". But it weakens their argument that the "annexation of Crimea" by Russia was only the answer to the previous annexation by Ukraine and thus a liberation. Thus, the threat of an attack on Crimea was an attack on Russia.

"Climate lockdown" under false pretense!
You have to heat up water in the tank up to 65 °C, because if you save gas incorrectly,
you increase the risk of severe infection and illlness (legionella disease, etc.).
If they don't stop to talk like fucking Nazis I'll use more gas then I have ever before!

"The Sudden HIV syndrome"
Remember I told you on the 1st of August (22) that all patients in the UK who will arrive to a hospital A&E (emergency room) will be tested for HIV?
Well, surprise surprise, look what the Israeli Ministry of Health just informed via Israel's mainstream media: HIV testing will be one of the routine tests for pregnant women!!!
The screenshot above is a page translation from Hebrew to English using google translate, as well as the original news in Hebrew.
Nothing to see here, except sudden death, and huge amount of excessive deaths, and myocarditis, and huge amounts of cancer patients, and a lot of young people getting sick, and now HIV in pregnant women.
I thihk we are about to enter the "sudden HIV syndrome" era. I'm pretty sure they will blame it on the Russians ...

Thus, the threat of an attack on Crimea was an attack on Russia.
there is a serious problem with legality of dissolution of SSSR. SSSR was never legally dissolved
A referendum on the future of the Soviet Union was held on 17 March 1991 across the Soviet Union. The question put to voters was
Do you consider necessary the preservation of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics as a renewed federation of equal sovereign republics in which the rights and freedom of an individual of any ethnicity will be fully guaranteed?
The referendum was made with the aim of approving the Union of Sovereign States.
In Kazakhstan, the wording of the referendum was changed by substituting "equal sovereign states" for "equal sovereign republics".[2]
In Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Kyrgizia additional questions were asked about sovereignty and independence of these republics.
While the vote was boycotted by the authorities in Armenia, Estonia, Georgia (though not the breakaway province of Abkhazia, where the result was over 98% in favour,[3] and in South Ossetia),[4] Latvia, Lithuania, and Moldova (though not Transnistria or Gagauzia),[5] turnout was 80% across the rest of the Soviet Union.[2] The referendum's question was approved by nearly 80% of voters in all nine other republics that took part.[6] It was the only referendum in the history of the Soviet Union, as the August Coup prevented the formation of the renewed federation, causing the Soviet Union to be dissolved on 26 December 1991. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991_Soviet_Union_referendum
basically, non of the country's that were created after break up of SSSR are legal in strictly legal sense. they are internationally recognized but they are not legal with all the legal proceedings that should have been done. in could be argued that Ukraine (as a country) does not exists...legally speaking.
A referendum on the Act of Declaration of Independence was held in Ukraine on 1 December 1991.[1] An overwhelming majority of 92.3% of voters approved the declaration of independence made by the Verkhovna Rada on 24 August 1991.
The vote marked a significant shift in opinion from earlier in the year, when a majority of Ukrainian voters supported remaining part of the Soviet Union under the terms of the New Union Treaty in the March 1991 Ukrainian sovereignty referendum. However, in the month up to the 1991 Ukrainian presidential election held on the same day as the independence referendum, all six presidential candidates campaigned across Ukraine in favour of independence from the USSR, and a "Yes" vote in the referendum.[2] In the evening of 30 November 1991, before the ballots, the drama film Holod-33 (Famine-33), set in the Ukrainian SSR during the Holodomor, was broadcast on the republic's state television channel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991_Ukrainian_independence_referendum

Re: #104 - Main news thread - conflicts, terrorism, crisis from around the globe
Most energy companies are wholesalers they buy their energy off suppliers then on sell to the retail market the energy markets involve paper trading and derivatives like many other financial markets and the participants often borrow money to purchase the energy.Built into this borrowing is a percentage change in the valuation that if reached will trigger what is called a 'margin call'
A 'margin call' means the borrower must immediately pay the loan back
Today a story at Yahoo Finance reports there is at least $1.5 trillion dollars of margin calls in the European energy market
If not bailed out the market will probably implode.

The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

Until I have sorted out all the misinformation, it really takes too long. Is it possible that by the standards of international law, Ukraine annexed Crimea at that time?
I need the info for answers.
In 1991 referendu was held and 94% of voters supported an idea of independent Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Crimean people protested forced Ukrainisation and, in result, Crimea obtained status of autonomous region. It had its own government and authorities.

Thus, the threat of an attack on Crimea was an attack on Russia.
there is a serious problem with legality of dissolution of SSSR.

I think, looking at Crimea will not help us. It was given legally to Ukraine by Chrushtchov. From my point of view it is more striking, that Ukraine itself was created during WW I by German and Austrian occupation and recognized during the peace negotiations at Brest 1917/18 by the German and Austrian representatives. Trotsky had no choice and had to accept this. Stalin later, when he re-integrated Ukraine, did not dissolve this artificial state, but kept it intact. He should have dissolved it into the old Russian governorates. Not to forget, that Lvov-Lemberg was given to Ukraine by Stalin from the Molotov-Ribbentrop treaty and could claimed by Poland.
