UKRAINIANS ARE NOT TRAINED ACCORDING TO NATO STANDARDS

The online publication USSA News publishes a response from the British Ministry of Defense to someone's complaints about the low effectiveness of British courses for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The military department confirms that the Ukrainians do not reach the basic level of NATO training. However, he adds, these courses served, first of all, to improve the morale of Ukrainian servicemen, and not to acquire skills according to NATO standards.
"There is no goal to ensure that Ukrainian trainees reach a level of professional skills and education that is accepted in our Armed Forces.

Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Monday revealed a map showing more than 10 different facilities in Syria’s Centre D’Etudes et de Recherches Scientifiques (CERS) in Masyaf that are used by Iran to produce advanced missiles and weapons for its proxies.

“Under the vision of [former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force commander] Qasem Soleimani, Iran transformed CERS into production facilities for mid- and long-range precise missiles and weapons, provided to Hezbollah and Iranian proxies,” he said at The Jerusalem Post Conference in New York. “In other words, it became yet another Iranian front – a factory for advanced, strategic weapons.”

“These sites, particularly the underground facility at Masyaf, host significant threats to the region and to the State of Israel,” he added. “Masyaf, specifically, is used to produce advanced missiles.”

Israel admits the Iranian missile production sites are deep deep underground in Syria and with Israel having no bunker busting bombs it means their airstrikes in Syria are all for show and do zero damage to any missile production.

I think that was obvious the idea that Iran and Syria would have above ground factories is laughable Iran built up Hezbollah by having deep underground bases, bunkers and tunnels that Israeli airpower can't damage. The border areas of the Russian Federation:

Ukrainian formations shelled the village of Logachevka in the Belgorod region
with large-calibre shells, killing one woman and wounding several people.

Shortly before that, the Ukrainian armed forces also struck the village of Tetkino in the Kursk region,
slightly damaging several residential buildings.

Kharkov region

The Russian Armed Forces were able to level the front along the left bank of the Oskol River
after retreating in the Kharkov Oblast.

Russian missile forces and artillery launched massive strikes on AFU facilities in Kharkov:
One of the strikes hit the National Police building.

On the Krasny Liman direction:


Ukrainian forces have been on the offensive for the third day around the town of Krasny Liman,
whose defence is held by a small garrison of the Russian Armed Forces and the LNR People's Militia.

The town is strategically important for the AFU as it is located on the northern bank of the Seversky Donets
and could become a potential bridgehead for a further offensive towards the Kremennaya and Severodonetsk agglomeration.

Some reports suggest that the enemy was able to occupy part of Svyatogorsk north of Slavyansk,
which, if captures, would potentially allow an offensive toward Krasny Liman from the northwest.

The Bakhmut (Artyomvsk) direction:


The AFU is storming Belogorovka west of Lisichansk, increasing pressure on the grouping of Allied forces in this direction.
The capture of the settlement will give the enemy an additional bridgehead to develop an offensive towards the Severodonetsk agglomeration.

Wagner PMC units continue to control individual streets in the east of Bakhmut (Artyomovsk),
striking firing positions and strongholds of the AFU in and around the city itself.

At the same time, Allied Forces units fought for the Donbass power substation
and developed an offensive towards Nikolayevka II and Otradovka.

In Soledar, positional fighting continued in the south of the city near the KNAUF GIPS factory.

On the Donetsk direction:

On the Donetsk direction, Ukrainian formations are shelling the suburbs of Donetsk and surrounding settlements.

Positional fighting near Peski and Pervomayskoye continues.

Ugledar direction:

The AFU is concentrating forces in the vicinity of Ugledar.
This may be either preparation for an offensive or a simulation to force the Russian Armed Forces
to move reinforcements and denuding other areas.

On the Zaporozhye direction:

The AFU has moved units to the frontline near Orekhovo and may attempt a strike in the south of Zaporozhye region.

The artillery duel across the Dnieper continues to become regular:
Ukrainian forces are shelling the Zaporozhye NPP from positions on the northern bank of the river in Nikopol and Marganets,
to which the Russian Armed Forces respond with fire.

On the Krivoy Rog direction:

On the Krivorozhsk direction, position fighting continues south of Vysokopolye, Olgino and around Novoznesenskoye.

Look, I will make this plain: This week and the next will decide the outcome of this conflict.

Either Russia will pull together its resources—I am not even talking about mobilization,
but even the resources immediately available, like all the reserves prepared at this time
to go into Ukraine and the troops and equipment already on the ground,
and stops this wave of the Ukrainian offensive,
or the next war will be a war for Russia itself
—whether it starts immediately, with NATO smelling blood, or even in a few years,
with Ukraine and its vulture partners even better prepared.

If the Ukrainian offensive is stopped and turned back—as Russia is fully capable of doing now
then the counteroffensive may well be even more rapid than what we’ve seen from Ukraine in the past two weeks.
In the face of such counteroffensive, the enemy’s morale may well crack.

It all depends on political will and the proficiency of military command.
The fact that the front has not collapsed any further that it has,
and the at pace of the Ukrainian offensive has slowed considerably, compared to the Balakleya breakthrough,
indicates resilience on the part of even the light defensive lines that Russia had on the Izyum front.

The key here is to maintain the morale of the troops—lose that, and the conflict is largely over.
And by that defeat I mean even Russia retaining Kherson, Zaporozhye and the Donbass.

Properly organized—and considering that the withdrawal appeared to have been orderly and controlled
—the Russian pullback would work to create a counteroffensive spring that can be utilized.

But it will require political will.
If anyone at the top is sitting pretty and thinking that they can force Ukraine into a peace or a ceasefire in the face of this rout,
they will get defeat and shame, rather than just shame.

Political will,
an appeal to the nation, positing that this war is a matter of Russia’s survival
—and the outcome will be clear and in Russia’s favour.

Political indecision,
and the next war Russia will be fighting to defend its borders.

Reports coming in that certain “decisions” regarding the operational situation will be announced today.
Whatever they may be—if they are announced—let’s focus on what we have.
I will wait to hear things said officially.

However, it is already clear that Russia is taking the Ugledar and Zaporozhye theatres very seriously,
with transfer of reserves and defensive preparations.

I have no understanding what Russia is doing at Svyatogorsk,
although I can intuit that
the major troops and reserves are tied up with the defense and preparations along the Oskol river line,
and, for that reason,
both Svyatogorsk and Krasny Liman/Yampol and Belogorovka have been neglected.

Once the defensive preparations along the Oskol are complete,
I suspect that troops will be freed up to curtail the Ukrainian threat in north DPR/LPR.

If I can hazard a guess, the Oskol defensive preparations are proceeding at a very rapid pace,
and

Russian command believes
that the Svyatogorsk—Krasny Liman—Yampol—Belogorovka line
can hold out enough with their current garrisons
to allow the Russian forces to then swoop in and force the enemy back beyond the Seversky Donets engagement line.
But this is just a guess—although maybe a good one.

With the rapid pace of the Ukrainian offensive in the Kharkov region,
they will have had to tie up not inconsiderable forces in cleaning up behind the front lines,
and, in any event,
no army can continue fighting at the same tempo, particularly with natural obstacles in the way.
This plays in favour of Russia’s defensive preparations.

Nonetheless, the count here may be down to days...
who will secure their respective objectives first.
