Pleased to hear it.
It seemed ok to begin with, getting a few items through an automated till to save a bit of time, but gradually the staffed tills began to reduce, to the point where my local Asda (Walmart) now shuts their staffed tills long before the store closes and expects you to get a trolley full of shopping through a sodding automated till.
The children they employ these days just stand around, playing on their effing phones and watch you struggle.

I remember, when I was in Wales and there were only machines in the supermarket. I shouted loud and clear into the room: "The machine refuses my money. If you don't want my money, I just leave. It's up to you." Immediately one of these kids was around me and did the payment.
