Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu has held telephone talks with his French, Turkish, British and American counterparts.

Artillery fire stopped and dispersed the hostile units. More than 40 Ukrainian servicemen, seven armored fighting vehicles, and four cars were destroyed.
In the Nykolayev–Krivoy Rog direction, the enemy with a reinforced motorized infantry battalion failed to attack the Russian positions in the directions of Kherson region.
All the attacks have been successfully repulsed by the Russian troops. The enemy has been driven back to its initial positions. More than 90 Ukrainian personnel, 3 tanks, and 8 armored fighting vehicles were destroyed.
A fuel depot was eliminated near the village of Smela (Cherkasy region), where more than 100,000 tons of aviation fuel for the Ukrainian Air Force were stored.
6 projectiles of the American HIMARS MLRS and 1 HARM high-speed anti-radiation missile were intercepted close to Kakhovka (Kherson region) and Svatovo (Lugansk People's Republic).

Israel delivers weapons system for drone defense to Ukraine via detour

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz has categorically stated that Israel is determined not to supply weapons to Ukraine. Why? Because Jerusalem relies on Russian support for its airstrikes in Syria and does not want to end cooperation with Moscow. But because the NATO world was still completely helpless in the face of the Iranian drones, I decided to write about it on Twitter, because I now have some reach there and, unlike our traffic light government, I definitely do not want to and will not help the Nazis in Kiev.

A Ukrainian official is said to have stated anonymously that Israel provided valuable information for the attack on the Iranian drones. The EurAsian Times noted earlier this month that an Israeli security company supplied satellite images of Russian military positions to the Ukrainians. The report was also based on the claims of some anonymous Ukrainian officials. However, there was no official confirmation from the Israeli government regarding this assistance. Just a few days after the report, on October 17, a new wave of air strikes by the Russian Shahed-136 (Geran 2 in Russia) drones hit Kiev.

While Benny Gantz stated unequivocally that his country could only help with an early warning of the drones, but not with air defense, there are now reports from the Ukrainian battlefield that Israel has armed the country with a state-of-the-art anti-drone weapons system called Smart Shooter. Just like the claims about the data deliveries, these were also denied by the government in Tel Aviv.

According to the Israeli newspaper Debka, Ukraine has now completed the installation of the "Smart Shooter" target acquisition system on light aircraft and drones, thus eliminating Iranian "Kamikaze drones".

Don't buy the Israeli propaganda their interceptors are notoriously expensive and they normally cost 100,000 to intercept a 500 dollar Hamas rocket. Ukraine and their backers simply can't afford to pay between 100,000 to 200,000 per a intercept especially as the drones are far more quickly replaced than interceptors are as they take far longer to build
