The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

The ratio of civilian casualties to killed soldiers!
World War 1 - 59 %
World War 2 - 67 %
NATO operations in Iraq - 77%
NATO air strikes in Yugoslavia - 400 %
SWO - 3 %
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilian_casualty_ratio
..............
I'm interested in figures on previous wars before 1900. I once read somewhere that the civilian population used to be less affected by direct acts of war than in "modern" wars.
With the above figures, one could say that the SWO is not a war.All of recorded human history encompasses a centuries-long fight between those who view man as a noble creature, as Genesis says: “made in the Creator's image,” versus the oligarchic view of man as a beast, expendable, a “worthless wretch.” pic.twitter.com/K6atUbgihZ

The Russian Federation is (now) more noble and values human life, human dignity.
You can even see it expressed by the 'orchestra' and the chechens.
the role and revival of orthodoxy since Soviet rule has set a high standard for human life i think.

Even if I don't see it as shown in the video, at least it calls the official "narrative" into question. Besides, it's hilarious.

This depends. During the 30-years-war (1618 - 1648) the civilian population was heavily affected. After this war, warfare was professionalized and the wars of the Spanish succession, the Austrian succession and the 7-years war did not affect the civilian population much. But the wars after the American and French Revolutions (1776/89 - 1814/15) were horrible for the population, because of the levée en masse and because it was a civil war. Then again the wars were fought by professionals like the Crimean War (1850s). This changed again with the American Civil War and WW I and II (1914 - 1945). These three wars were called by Churchill the three "30-years wars".
According to the English wikipedia, there are
total deaths 4.5 - 8 mio, civilian deaths 3.5 - 6.5 mio during the 30-years war
According to the German wikipedia, there are
840,000 total deaths during the 7-years war (civilians are not mentioned)
According to the English wikipedia, there are
4 mio deaths during the Coalition wars (civilians are not mentioned)
According to the English wikipedia, there were
670,000 deaths during the Crimean war (civilians are not mentioned)

900,000 military deaths during the war 1870/71 and 250,000 civilian deaths (including a small pox epidemy spread by French prisoners of war).
Ratio would be 3 or 4 (military) to 1 (civilian)
Ratio of the 30-years war would be about 1 (military) to 4 (civilian).

i will piggy back on this post. in case of nuclear war most of the city's that do not have big military installations will be spared of direct hits. at least in the first wave.
But, as i have said earlier nuclear power stations will over heat and release material into environment. on considerable amount of nuclear power stations there is a pool with spent fuel rods. this is map of nuclear power stations in france
Chernobyl Exclusion Zone is the 30-Kilometre Zone. Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant is 20km radius around the nuclear plant. but that was 1 reactor (Chernobyl) and probably 2 (Fukushima Dai-ichi). also, those reactors were stopped from going critical.going critical means nuclear fuel sustains a fission chain reaction. A reactor achieves criticality (and is said to be critical) when each fission event releases a sufficient number of neutrons to sustain an ongoing series of reactions. we could consider zone of 150 - 200 km (if chain reaction continues) to be dead zone.
there is also question of use them or lose them. there are probability's in trajectory of ICBMs. but modern ICBMs have MIRV ( abbreviation of Multiple Independent Reentry Vehicle https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_independently_targetable_reentry_vehicle) and hyper sonic missiles can change path in air. which means that china does not know if nuclear missile that was launched from submarine in pacific is going to hit Svobodny or Beijing (for example).
ergo, after first country launches...everybody launches or they are risking losing them (nuclear missiles). after first (probably tactical nuke) explodes only logical move is to launch all before the other side. and after launch nuclear power stations will explode and release MOX https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOX_fuel in atmosphere. and chances to stop nuclear power stations to go critical are slim...to none. there are back up diesel generators but...they need fuel and people (alive) to operate. 150 to 200 km around is dead...plus cancer and all that in years to come.
considering that NATO is sending tanks, mobilization in Poland and Russian distrust in agreements with "west" probability of nuclear exchange is rising. this new tanks will have NATO personal. it is question if they will be legitimate or with other flags. but if Russian offensive is successful maybe Russia decides to take care of Poland and Germany while they have army on the borders and stockpiles of NATO weapons are depleted. Russians now know they can not trust "west" and they are (from their point of view) fighting for survival. and from Russian perspective taking care of the "west" will come sooner or later. while Russia have army on the border with NATO why not take this opportunity and take care of the west and deal with the problem now.
in US tactics there is a possibility to use tactical nuclear weapons if Russian tanks breach certain lines. and US government have shown that is ready to use nuclear weapons. NATO has to back up...and i do not see that. i only see that NATO is going all in. Russia will not back up. this is matter of survival of Russia. and Russia will use nuclear weapons if it thinks it is necessary for survival. there is nuclear fallout out shelter for everybody in Russia. and S-400 and S-500 could take care of some of the missiles. China also has S-400 and their own systems. Russia is biggest country in the world and it has space. Russia can take few hits. China has big population and fallout out shelters.
