Canada harvests more organs from euthanized patients than any other nation in the world

Doctors in Canada, where medical assistance in dying (MAID) was decriminalized in 2016, performed almost half of the world's organ transplants after MAID for that period - 136. In Canada, Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain, combined, 286 assisted-death recipients provided organs for transplant in the years up to and including 2021.

One of the recent concerns is that patients might be pressured into choosing MAiD to increase the availability of organ donors. 

Trudo Lemmens, a professor in health law and policy at the University of Toronto, points out that more than a third of Canadians who took MAiD expressed that they were "a burden on family, friends or caregivers."

"I am concerned that people who struggle with a lack of self-esteem and self-worth may be pushed to see this as an opportunity to mean something." - Lemmens said.

That's his own definition, not the official one.
Communism means (public) state control of the means of production and not only. Everything that empowers the state, inherently leads to dictatorship.
A form of common ownership without a state is not communism, so that is just propaganda with a smile.
Altruism has its limits. I do not call it fair when those smart and productive are working to keep the stupid and the lazy happy. I had socialist/communist views in my youth but I learned better. The hard way.

Communism is defined that neither state nor rule is still necessary, but it means the "free association of free individuals". What some idiots tell from their ass is irrelevant to this, be it any opponents or alleged "socialists", "communists" or other "supporters" who are too stupid, ignorant or malicious to understand it. 

What you are spreading here is a straw man, you are criticizing a non-existent thing. With you, I suspect that you are afraid of freedom, otherwise you would not run after a leader.

I don't know if you lived in GDR or if the lands and homes there were confiscated there like it was in my country where peasants were left with max 500sqm around the house for domestic use and forced to work hundreds of days per year on the "common" lands with no pay and no rights to a pension. If they owned a cow or a few hens they had to give 30-50% of the milk and eggs to the state, otherwise their livestock would have been taken away. This is just a small example.
In my "straw man" fear, I cannot call that "free association of free individuals". Careful what you wish for.

And I don't run after a leader, but life taught me that out of 100 people you'll barley find 2-3 to make a stand and fight for something they believe in. The rest are complying or just talk and no act. That's why I respect someone that takes the risk and fights, despite the odds.

Since you keep attacking me personally, I will stop replying to your posts. I hope you'll at least appreciate my decency of not responding with the same coin.

I did not return here to start any fights. I truly wanted to see if the events we live today made anyone reconsider their previous positions, or at least to make them reflect upon them. We always learn from our own mistakes.
