Here in Germany there is a carnival tradition called "Büttenrede", where funny poems with a lot of puns or political jokes and parodies are performed.

Mr Heppner opposed the supplies because he is a staunch pacifist. And he became such when he was captured in 1945, found himself on the territory of #Ukraine and saw the scale of the destruction caused by the war.
