A F-16 fighter jet shot down the object over Lake Huron. The object was shaped like an octagon and was at an altitude of 20,000 feet, posing a hazard to commercial aircraft.

'Oil' from organics has been replicated via heat/pressure in labs.
but 30,000 ft is deep.
hmmmm.......
what about gravity?
oil would still 'flow downhill' wouldn't it?
even if 'created'/heat/pressure from above.... it would 'seep' down to its lowest level.
anyway.... my thoughts.

But except for the video on RT, I could not find anything about it, only as a copy on the annoying Yahoo and msn sites. I do not understand this, with such a huge crack in the earth, I would have expected more enthusiasm from geologists.
