The aftermath of the freight train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, persists,
with residents and rail workers reporting illnesses and the Biden administration facing criticism regarding an inadequate federal response.
The 38-car derailment occurred one month ago and resulted in the release of vinyl chloride into the air via a controlled burn,
and questions swirl about why testing for dioxins wasn’t conducted immediately after the derailment.
Earlier this week, EPA Administrator Michael Regan visited East Palestine. He addressed reporters about the ongoing situation.
Journalist Nick Sorter asked the commissioner:
“Mr. Commissioner, let me ask you really quick, would you allow your children to touch the water?
We’ve seen the rainbow sheen, we’ve seen all of these chemicals popping up from the bottom of the streams that these kids used to play in.
Would you allow your kids anywhere close to these streams right now?”
Regan’s response:
“I would not. I’m a father of a 9-year-old. I think we have to all agree we wish this accident didn’t occur,

A Russian virologist who helped develop the country’s COVID vaccine has been found dead after an altercation with an intruder in his Moscow apartment, according to reports in local media.
Andrey Botikov, one of 18 scientists who developed the Sputnik V vaccine at the Gamaleya National Research Center, was identified as the man who had been discovered strangled in his Rogova Street home on March 2, Regnum reported, citing official sources. It previously reported that he had survived the attack.
The Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR) has now opened a murder investigation, believing that a 29-year-old man strangled the scientist with a belt during a disagreement before fleeing the scene.

BREAKING: On March 5, at around 10:00 a.m., Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire and killed three Artsakh police officers and injured one in a diversion attempt.
According to the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Azerbaijani forces targeted the vehicle of the police officers as they were driving near the village of Ghaibalishen, which is not too far from Stepanakert.
Reports that Azerbaijan took aim at locations near Shushi with mortars and large-caliber weapons.
Fighting broke out after Azerbaijan attacked and killed 3 Artsakh officers.

It could be chemical weapons, but a seizure would also cause these symptoms and not everybody is afflicted.
Of course the man shooting through the hole in the wall was exposed to more of the cloud after the explosion than the other men...
Potential use of chemical weapons by the AFU in Kharkov direction.
It looks the infantry was hit from drone carrying chemical weapons component that exploded outside.
