Sudanese air forces struck RSF bases, chasing after paramilitaries, the armed forces said in a statement.

The RSF had earlier accused in a statement military forces of attacking its base with "all kinds of light and heavy arms."

A rift has been widening between Burhan, who led a military coup in 2021,
and RSF leader Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, among Sudan's most powerful men.
The crisis between the military and the RSF escalated after both forces failed to reach an agreement over restructuring the military, seen as a prerequisite before forming a civilian government.

In Sudan, it's a proxy war between sponsors of arch-rivals:
General Hemetti's RSF (UAE & KSA)
Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (aka Hemetti), head of RSF was formerly known as Janjaweed.
UAE alongside SaudiArabia directly supported Janjaweed
having been deployed by Abu Dhabi to proxy wars in Yemen & Libya.
and
General al Burhan's military (Egypt).
The current tension between the two Arab sides is being exported to Khartoum.

@Kanthan2030
How’s that decoupling from China going?
Germany’s BASF, which already has 30 production facilities in China, is investing another €10 billion in China.
China-Germany trade is €300 billion a year.
Worse, the anti-Russia sanctions are crippling the German economy,
making it ever more dependent on the Chinese market for survival.
Maybe it’s time for Germany to decouple from the USA?

Trilateral Commission calls 2023 the "Year One" of the New World Order
While retired foreign ministers, ambassadors, CEOs, bankers and academics gathered at the first global general assembly of the mysterious Trilateral Commission in India, perhaps the most influential person sat quietly by the side and listened.
James Baker, director of the Pentagon Office of Net Assessment, was not even on the list of participants at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi. But his findings from the meeting could feed into the politics that shape the world.

FOCUS
"An experiment on eight billion people"
To darken the sun with moon dust? This even scares climate scientists
To darken the sun with moon dust, for the climate? More and more researchers and more and more companies are experimenting with the so-called "geo-engineering", which is supposed to slow down global warming. The first states ban the practice - and renowned researchers also warn: the dust experiment could have unforeseen consequences.
It sounds like the crazy idea of a comic book villain, but the research group at the University of Utah in the USA is actually serious about it. "Dust as a sun shield" is the name of the scientific essay that the group published in the scientific journal "Plos Climate" in February - and which triggered a great debate in science.
