Why does Poland support ukraine so much? Don't they know Ukrainians led by bandera killed 130,000 poles in Volhynia? I know the Soviets killed huge numbers of poles aswell and helped nazis invade Poland at start of WW2 but why not be natural as both sides are historic enemies?

Bandera had nothing to do with it. He was in a German death camp at the time.

Putin is blaming a person who was in a concentration camp at the time. And this is not even questionable. It is a known fact that everybody agree on.  On 5 July 1941 Bandera was placed under house arrest. He was released at the end of the war from concetration camp. Most of the war he was either under house arrest or in the death camp.

And Poland supports Ukraine because poles know that Ukrainians and Russians and same people. And if they kill themselves, it is good for Poland ruling elite. Also, money from US of A.

it is up to discussion how many poles are killed and how many Ukrainians are killed. It heavily depends on which side is presenting the story. And Soviet propaganda had a reason to present a story in a negative light for Bandera. Problem is, Bandera was in a German concentration camp at the time. And Bandera was in the same concentration camp as Stalin son.

Just to be clear, this is facts. Not propaganda...just facts that can be checked from historic documents.

Bandera was detained only because he intended to create independent Ukraine. Prior that he was useful idiot for nazis, hise UPA/OUN is behind hundreds of thousand of killed Poles, Jews and Czechs and Slovaks as well. Not only that, Banderowtsi attacked Czechoslovakia even after WWII in naive attempts to reach Western Germany in hope that WWII will continue.

Of course, Bandera was working with Germans "nazis". it is not even worth debate. it is a fact.

No. while Bandera was not only nazi collaborator he volontered to work with nazis. This is a fact, and I am not arguing anything different.

But:
Bandera was at the time in german concentration camp. And that is also a fact. He can not be held accountable for something that was done while he was in prison (concentration camp). With Bandera in concentration camp that is enough of a proof that he could not have committed a crime, and he could not have done it, especially the fact that he was in another place at the time it happened.

I am not going into UPA/OUN, neither who did what in that time in Ukraine and who is responsible. I am stating that Putin is slandering Bandera because Bandera cannot be guilty of a crime because he was somewhere else when the crime was committed.

Also, Wikipedia is definitely not good source for facts. You should know there are whole brigades redacting the page around the clock. And that's the fact...

I agree about Wikipedia, but this is all known facts that were never disputed. This is the reason why I have used Wiki. Neither side is disputing he was at the time in a concentration camp. This is false and defamatory statements about someone in order to damage their reputation; slander.

Facts don't stand alone. You wrote Putin is balming wrong guy bcs Bandera was in German death camp. It's fact, indeed. But it doesn't support your claim at all. There's context, there is timeline that led to his detention. Timeline full of war crimes, genocides and massacress. It really doesn't matter if he was imprisoned when some specific massecre occured. It was commited by his loyal followers, worshippers. He forged them and they were his army. There's no need to whitewash him.
He is ultimately responsible for what his followers commited even if he was imprisoned because it was him who mostly created this ideology and put together gangs of armed scumbags. So yes, he beras responsibility in the same way as Jabotinsky berars responsibility for reccent crimes of his worshippers regardless the fact he's dead and gone for decades. At least in my playbook.

As for ideology, we can (in principle) agree. But he is not directly responsible. The person or persons who were giving orders and executing them are responsible.
