It was always clear from reading zionists like Uri Avnery, who kept pushing for the "two state solution", that to them it meant:

1. The total ethnic cleansing of all Palestinians, including citizens, from the zionist entity.

2. The maintenance of the West Bank illegal settlements, with Palestinians to be "compensated" with (unspecified) territory "elsewhere".

3. The elimination of any Nakba displaced Palestinian right of return except, Avnery grudgingly conceded, "token numbers", and

4. The reduction of any "independent" Palestinian state to a powerless, fragmented Bantustan whose economy would be entirely dependent on acting as hewers of wood and drawers of water for the zionist occupiers.

Under such circumstances the two state solution needs to be dead and buried. The only choice is a one state with equal status for everyone or a Palestinian state with zionists deported to whatever country its idiotic enough to accept them.
