In Venezuela 60.60% have European (mostly Castilian), 23% Indigenous ("Indian" West Indian!), and 16.30% African ancestors.
In Guyana 43.5% have "Indian" (East Indian!), 30.2% African, 16.7% mixed, and 9.1% Indigenous ("Indian", West Indian!) ancestors.

These East Indians came with the British colonialists. They are Hindu. Many are Tamils.
The West Indians are mostly Arawak in both countries. They don't care about the oil and gas.
