Freicorps are not just precursors of the Nazis (especially the SA), they were soldiers coming back from the Western front, who were not included in the 100,000 man force allowed by the treaty of Versailles. They were in-official forces.
Non-the-less Ebert and his Social-Democrats had committed treason to both the nation and the workers by signing the treaty of Versailles (US and China had refused) and by putting down a Communist revolution. But this identification rests on the identification of "Mizraim" with Egypt. But there are lot of Muzris, Musris, Misrs in the Near East, because it just means "Fortress at the border". One of these places are, where the Euphrates crosses the modern Turkish-Syrian border. This would make sense. So the whole location of the "promised land" is wrong and would be much smaller.
