An American Airlines flight from Tampa, Florida came to an abrupt halt on the tarmac on Wednesday, when its tires blew out during takeoff.
The incident was caught on camera, and footage shows the tires bursting into flames, leaving a plume of smoke behind the aircraft.
The plane, having reached a speed of around 150 knots (around 270kph), eventually came to a stop, and was met by fire trucks.
The 174 passengers and six crew members aboard were all safely evacuated, and American Airlines told media that there had been no injuries.
This incident is just one in a long line of Boeing malfunctions, as the company faces increasing calls for accountability,
as well as civil and possible criminal charges, for its role in a growing number of crashes, equipment failures, and safety violations.

The enemy lost up to 460 servicemen, a tank, three armored personnel carriers, including two US-made M113s, 11 vehicles, a US-made 155-mm M198 howitzer, two 152-mm Msta-B howitzers, a 122-mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount, two 122-mm D-30 howitzers, and the Enclave-N electronic warfare station.
Units of the "Southern" group of forces improved the situation along the front line, and also defeated the manpower and equipment of the 24th, 72nd mechanized, 46th airmobile, 79th airborne assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Konstantinovka, Kurakhovo, Ilyinka and Chasov Yar of the Donetsk People's Republic.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 700 servicemen, a tank, two Kozak armored combat vehicles, two cars, a 155-mm self-propelled artillery mount AS-90 made in Great Britain, four 152-mm D-20 guns, two 122-mm D-30 howitzers, a 105-mm M119 gun made in the United States, two L-119 howitzers manufactured in the United States Uk.

Units of the Vostok group of forces took more advantageous lines and defeated the manpower and equipment of the 58th motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 110th territorial defense brigade in the areas of the settlements of Prechistovka, Urozhaynoye of the Donetsk People's Republic and Gulyaipole of the Zaporozhye region.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 155 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, eight cars, a 155-mm FH-70 howitzer made in the UK, and a 155-mm M777 howitzer made in the United States.
Units of the Dnepr group of troops defeated the manpower and equipment of the 141st infantry, 128th mountain assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Pyatykhatki, Zherebyanka and Kamianske of the Zaporozhye region.
The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to up to 85 servicemen, seven vehicles, a 155-mm M777 howitzer made in the United States, a 105-mm M119 howitzer made in the United States, the Enclave-N electronic warfare station and the Plastun electronic reconnaissance station.
Operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated concentrations of enemy manpower and military equipment in 127 districts.
Air defense systems shot down 24 unmanned aerial vehicles and five US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems during the day.
