Rheinmetall continues to increase production capacity

On August 1, the German concern began construction of a new gunpowder plant in the Romanian city of Victoria (Brasov County) . The project is being implemented jointly with the Romanian military-industrial company Pirochim Victoria SA , which provided 300 hectares of the abandoned plant. Part of the funds (47 million out of 400 million euros) was provided by the European Defense Fund. Completion of construction is planned by January 31, 2027 .
