I notice that NONE of them weigh in the muslim factor.
I see it as a primary motivator in their rejection of PM Hasina... that they perceived her as SELLOUT to Modi and the UK. (Her neice is an elected politcian in the Labor party/UK.)
The country of 150M is 90% Sunni... so the 'young students' are 90% Sunni.

That's why^^ it doesn't make sense to me.

Regime change in Bangladesh: what does Soros have to do with it?

Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned on Monday after protests against a quota system for government jobs turned violent. Under Hasina, the leader of the secular Awami League (AL), Bangladesh like many other countries of the Global South continued to cooperate with Russia despite the West's sanctions spree.

The recent wave of protests erupted in June and July at public and private universities, one of which is Brac University (BRACU). BRACU is a prominent participant in projects of the Open Society University Network's (OSUN), founded by George Soros.

BRACU's parent organization, the Bangladeshi NGO Brac, is one of the world’s largest non-profit organizations which has long been funded by Soros' Open Society Foundations.

Earlier, in August 2022, US Ambassador to Bangladesh Peter Haas called for "free, fair, and transparent elections" in Bangladesh.

In December 2022, Haas visited the residence of the opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader Sajedul Islam Sumon following the party's rally in Dhaka. Moscow warned the US against meddling in Bangladesh's domestic affairs.

In December 2023, opponents of Hasina’s government blocked traffic and clashed with the police. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova charged that the unrest was encouraged by US diplomats.

After the ruling AL won the January 2024 election, the US claimed the vote was not free and fair. India, China and Russia congratulated Hasina and the AL on the victory.

The US organization that observed the Bangladesh elections is the National Democratic Institute (NDI). The NDI is funded by the US State Department’s National Endowment for Democracy (NED) also known as the "second CIA".

The NED is also active in Bangladesh and is said to fund the anti-government Netra News – which labeled Hasina an "authoritarian" leader and urged her to step down.

Bloody failure: Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF) attempted to break through from Odessa to the Tendrovskaya Spit in the Kherson region, but they were met by Russian special forces.


During the night, the Ukrainian SOF, using up to 10 high-speed boats equipped with AGS-17 and heavy machine guns, and under the cover of unmanned aerial vehicles, attempted a breakthrough in an area where they had previously suffered heavy losses.

Ukrainians opened fire on the shore and tried to land using jet skis, but was met by Russian naval special forces who responded with dense and accurate fire.

Several boats were destroyed, and the Ukrainian equipment that managed to land remained on the shore. The exact number of AFU losses is currently unknown but is estimated to be up to two dozen.

It should be reminded that on February 28, due to the first failed landing on the Tendrovskaya Spit, it became a black day for the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces, when Russian naval special forces eliminated a large unit of the elite Ukrainian SOF.
