Sad to hear. I had similar problem with my dog years ago. True that he was quite old and was not in great condition already. Always hard.
Yeah it's rough. Tiring. This cat is old, which is why her kidney's are failing. Apparently 50% of cats die around 15 years old due to kidney failure. Very common. We had another cat two years ago who died because of cancer though - only 6 years old. I think we'll live without pets for a few years - focus on our kid and the second kid we're thinking of having.
