I strongly doubt that it was some "weapon factory" or "ammunition depot". There would be only a huge crater and not aluminum profiles scattered all around. It was some metallurgical factory as Syrians already say (some technological research facility)...

Empty buildings ,as usual.
Syrper long time residents,mostly Russians and Syrians,don't believe the official version of events yesterday.
They don't believe it's really possible to shoot down an IL-20 by accident,when everybody is on high alert.
The plane is too important,very expensive and the crew were highly educated and very specialized servicemen.
It's not easy to replace ,and it seems like the Russian Army buffs are very angry.
Also there's no way the Russians didnt see the Israeli F-16's from the moment they took off in Israel heading for a position they never took,threatening Lakatia ,where there are many Russian positions and interests.

I can't wait to see what the Russian investigation reveals, depending on the findings, the Russian response could end up being quite aggressive. (Still hoping for smoldering craters in Israel)
