Yesterday Guaido in the National Assembly announced he is calling for a national state of emergency. His supporters were dispirited as they were hoping he would go further and ask for foreign military intervention, but he didn't. He later said to CNNespanol that foreign military intervention at this time would be a backward step.
Later on he described to Fox News propagandist Trish Regan the steps that be taken if foreign intervention was chosen by him. He did not at any point say that is what he would do, but Regan deliberately portrayed it as he would call for intervention.

Venezuelan opposition leader and National Assembly head Juan Guaido said on Saturday he was launching a “new phase” in his push to oust President Nicolas Maduro, pledging to travel across the country before “reclaiming” the presidential palace.
Guaido, who invoked the constitution in January to assume an interim presidency, saying Maduro’s re-election was illegitimate, called on thousands of supporters to stay committed to what he dubbed “Operation Freedom.”
“Very soon, when we have visited and organised every inch ... we will go to Miraflores and reclaim what belongs to the Venezuelan people,” Guaido said, referring to the palace, in a speech in the industrial city of Valencia 176 km (109 miles) west of Caracas, where he toured shops and walked the streets.

So neocons and Guaido failed at everything else so far so now they want to provoke Maduro into having Guaido arrested so they can use that as an excuse to military invade Venezuela. And if that is avoided then, still, a march on the Presidential palace could quickly escalate into clashes between pro-Maduro and pro-coup demonstrators.
