Yeah, fire doctors during a pandemic, why not nurses too. If there's a catastrophe then it must also be really complete.

Do the USA want to kill their doctors and nurses? They don't grow on trees and after this disaster many foreign personal will stay away. Good luck with that politics. I've heard about students from other countries that want to leave the USA. I heard people say "learn Mandarin or Russian if you want to have a future - and that was before Corona.

The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

From my perspective there are two points and they have never changed: common law and freedom
-The US inherited common law from the UK. Luckily we do not have this on the continent. Very simple: Common law means, you can nearly do everything you like, if you can pay a lawyer, who can convince the jury, that what you have done is "right". If there is no law or no older case, the judge can judge as he thinks, it is "right" and by doing so create "laws". All this is impossible on the continent, because we have the good old Roman law with written laws and lawyers and the judge have to find out scientifically, if a law is violated or not. Even if you can afford the best lawyer you are subject to the law.
-We all know, that "freedom" means, that the strong, the powerful and the rich are free and should not be blocked by supporting the poor. So you have the winners and the losers. If you support the poor, you are a "communist" or "socialist". Healthcare from this perspective means, that the employers should support their employees and this is unbearable, because this is theft. It's the own fault of the poor to be poor.
The "American Dream" was always propaganda. Shoot first, ask later. If the nurse dies, don't care, take the next one. Even slavery was better, because the slave owners had to take care of their slaves, but workers are free to die.
