This is an image of the project for the restoration of the Saur-Mogila memorial. It is expected that work will be completed by the end of this year. At present, teams are still clearing the area of shells etc…, but it should look amazing once completed. #Donbass

It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

I am a "fan" of US crime series, especially "Navy CIS". In the episodes of Navy CIS L.A. in particular, it becomes clear how self-evidently the hegemonic claim of the USA is seen and planted in people's minds. There is not even the slightest hint of questioning this. On the contrary, it is the sacred duty of the USA to grace the world with its presence, otherwise the rest of the world is doomed.

This is not true. Herodotus writes (volume 4 chapter 43), that the Persian Shah-in-shah Xerxes I sent his relative Sataspes at about 480 BC to circumnavigate Africa. He sailed through the Pillars of Herakles, but returned the same way. So he was sailing the Atlantic, but he failed to obey his order.
This expedition is connected with the journey of Skylax of Karyanda, who sailed on order of Dareios I in about 517/16 from the mouth of the Indus river round the Arabian peninsula through the Red Sea to the mouth of the canal Dareios had built to connect the Mediterranean and the Red Sea.
The Pacific Ocean was reached at least in 758 AD, when a joint Arabian-Persian fleet attacked Guangzhou (Old book of the Tang). Very likely the Sassanid navy had surrendered to the Arabs. Because the Shah-in-shah would not have agreed to an attack on China. He actually asked for asylum there.

U.S. drugmaker Merck & Co said on Wednesday it has sold its equity investment in Moderna Inc,
after benefiting from a surge in the stock price of the vaccine developer this year.
Merck did not disclose the details of the sale proceeds,
but said it expects to record a small gain from the sale in the fourth quarter of 2020.
Moderna's shares have risen more than seven-fold this year,
valuing the company at US$55.80 billion as of Tuesday's closing price.

AstraZeneca sold its stake in rival COVID-19 vaccine maker Moderna for roughly US$1 billion over the course of last year
as the Anglo-Swedish drugmaker cashed in on the meteoric rise in the U.S. company's shares.
London-listed AstraZeneca recorded US$1.38 billion in equity portfolio sales last year,
with "a large proportion" of it coming from the Moderna sale, according its latest annual report.
AstraZeneca began investing in Moderna in 2013, paying US$240 million upfront and by the end of 2019 had built up its stake to 7.65per cent.
That would be worth about US$3.2 billion based on Moderna's 2020 closing stock price of US$104.47, Reuters calculation showed.

(June 1, 2021) Why the EU is lining up against China
The European Parliament on May 20, 2021 froze the ratification of the EU-China Investment Agreement,
concluded in December by the European Commission after seven years of negotiations.
EU lawmakers argue that while the Chinese sanctions are illegal because they violate international law,
the EU sanctions are legal because they are based on the UN’s defense of human rights.
The fundamental lever of this operation is the fact that 21 of the 27 countries of the European Union are members of NATO under US command.
In the forefront against China, as well as against Russia, are the Eastern European countries, which are also members of NATO and the EU,
and which, being more closely linked to Washington than to Brussels, increase the US influence on the EU’s foreign policy.
This policy substantially follows that of the United States, especially through NATO.
In the United States Senate, the Strategic Competition with China Act, S. 1169, was introduced on April 15
on the bi-partisan initiative of Democrat Bob Menendez and Republican James Risch.
The motivation for the legislation leaves no doubt that it is an all-out confrontation:
"The People’s Republic of China is leveraging its political, diplomatic, economic, military, technological, and ideological power
to become a strategic global competitor, almost on par, with the United States. The policies increasingly pursued by the PRC
in these areas are contrary to the interests and values of the United States, its partners and much of the rest of the world."
So the European Parliament has not simply taken another step in the "sanctions war" against China. It has taken another step to bring Europe to war.
