Well reports are coming in that the bridge at kupyansk has been effectively put out. Also Ukie raiding groups advancing at will in the Russian rear, all the way to the river.

Now Russia faces a serious problem of supporting all forces south of Kupyansk. Those units are in constant need of munitions and all other critical logistics. They will now have to be supplied by air. Also until the bridge is in working order, it will be near impossible to advance a relief column to mount a counter. In the very worst case, which I doubt will happen, thousands of Russian troops will themselves be encircled, in what appears to be a very similar battle strategy used by the Wehrmacht in June 1942 in the same area known as operation Fredricus.

Make no mistake here; Russia is in a very concerning situation at this juncture. In all probability Putin must begin a partial mobilization or face many more months of grinding.

A Russian military man describes the misery of the Russian army in a Telegram channel and talks about the military failures of the last few days.

The fact:
This is a fake telegram channel. It was created in 2020, but was not used in any way until yesterday. The reason for its "resuscitation" was the counterattack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Balakleya, which, apparently, the Ukrainian side decided to cover additionally. On September 7, it was titled "Notes of a Veteran," and it received several thousand "subscribers"-bots (see screenshot). This telegram channel had zero activity until September 7. Cloning official sources to distort the information picture is a common practice of the Ukrainian Center for Information and Psychological Operations.

To create the appearance of credible content, the authors of the fake channel take posts from the source that became its prototype. The creators of the clone copy the author style of the real channel, publishing only negative and panicked information in order to create a picture of defeatist sentiments.
