Well, my opinion is that Prigozhin is more known in the West than in Russia itself. Actually, Motorola or Givi were probably more known and recognized than him.

Prigozhin is much more popular in Russia than in the west. This is not a show. Putin has left Kursk in hurry. This is really, really bad for him. He has to prove he did not do it. Because he was a guarantee of Prigozhin safety. And he gave his word that Prigozhin will be safe. Now it looks like he went back on his words. Same type of behavior as collective "west". Nullifying their promises is one of the hallmarks of the "west". Or, to put it bluntly... Putin is the same as the "west". That is one thing that Putin can not be while president of Russia and fighting "west" on moral grounds.

Recently Ukraine successfully took out a Russian S-300 launcher in Crimea.
It appears as though the VKS decided to return the favor by destroying 2 UKR S-300 launchers and the fire control radar.
This happened in Nikolaev Oblast - reportedly using Kh-22 missiles launched from SU-35s.

It looks like Wagner PMC preparared a plan to preserve a functioning chain of command
and to carry out all existing tasks without interruptions in case of Prigozhin's death,
it's likely we'll know the new Wagner head very soon.

It will be interesting to see what is a "plan". Also, high level of alert in Rostov. They are calling people from vacations.
