With 13 votes in favor and 2 against, the body determined that Israel must stop its military incursion into the settlement, since this could cause the total or partial destruction of the Palestinian people.

In addition, the Court ordered Israel to take measures to guarantee unrestricted access to the Gaza Strip for any UN mission to investigate genocide, as well as keep the Rafah border crossing open for the delivery of aid.

Unlike the International Criminal Court (ICC), the recognition of the International Court of Justice is mandatory to the membership of the United Nations. Thus, the rulings of the ICJ cannot be ignored by eiтhter Israel or the US. 

The noose is tightening!

If I understand this correctly: South Africa has accused Israel before the ICJ and the ICJ has now ordered Israel to stop the Rafah offensive. Khan has asked for arrest warrants from the ICC. Who has brought the case before the ICC?

Both courts seem to be in the Hague. There is an arrest warrant against Putin from the ICC already. The ICJ seems to have ordered Russia to stop the Special Military Operation in Ukraine, without any effect. Why should Israel obey the order?
