The arrest of Telegram founder Pavel Durow confirms what is already known to regular readers of the anti-Spiegel: The Western Internet companies Google (including YouTube and others) and Facebook (which also includes WhatsApp, Instagram and others) have been created by US intelligence agency to gain total control over all of us. IT companies and large platforms such as TikTok, Telegram or currently X (formerly Twitter), which do not subordinate themselves to US intelligence assignments, are being fought.

This is also shown by the most important reasons for the arrest of Pavel Durow. For example, the mirror writes:

   “The investigation is running on Telegram because of its lax control of the content.”

In plain language: Telegram does not censor and also allows the spread of opinions that contradict the narratives of the US-led West (the US government). For this, i.e. for dissenting opinions, the supposedly free West is arrested today.

As early as the 1990s, US intelligence agencies recognized the dangers and opportunities that the Internet would bring them. The dangers were above all in the fact that freely accessible information would make it impossible for the US government to start wars in the future due to all too obvious lies, such as the incubator's lie (see below in the article). The fact that all information is freely accessible is the nightmare of all secret services.

The chances were the other side of the coin, namely the possibility of total control. Today, people inform themselves online, write and make phone calls over the net. Anyone who controls all this can determine what information people receive, what information can be censored (for the vast majority inconspicuous) and can totally monitor people. This goes up to their most private conversations and letters and even their money transfers. And you can also switch off the money transfers from government critics, which we experience, for example, at PayPal, which is also a CIA subsidiary.

I have already written about this earlier and want to remind you once again how the Western Internet companies were born and how the US intelligence services control the network, with the US Internet corporations being obedient agents. Therefore, I quote a complete article that I wrote in December 2022 on the occasion of the revelations of the Twitter files.
Surveillance and propaganda – Why Internet companies are instruments of US intelligence

Most people still believe that US Internet Corporations are corporations that act according to economic reasons and want to earn money in the first place. That this is not the case has been seen in their behaviour for a long time. The genesis of US Internet Corporations also contains plenty of indications that these corporations are basically subsidiaries of the US intelligence services.

Now the revelations of the Twitter files have confirmed this suspicion: The US intelligence services are directing the social networks, preside over them what opinions, reports and even concrete posts and users they should push and which they should censor. The US intelligence services have also requested the transfer of personal data from users – by the way bypass the legal provisions. This is at least in the case of Twitter now, because the FBI has requested the transmission of this data from Twitter.

The US intelligence services are about directing public opinion not only in the US, but worldwide, censoring unpleasant information, and about total control of the people themselves.

In this article, I will go into this whole story and also once again the founding of the big Internet companies. To this end, we need to go back far into the past to understanding. But this is unfortunately essential to understanding what the subject is about.
The unwanted freedom of the information age

When the Internet was created in the 1990s, the euphoria was great. Visionaries saw a new time dawning, the information age. Knowledge and information, so was the hope that would be freely available on the net to anyone, people could communicate indefinitely and share knowledge and information. It waved a new era of true freedom and genuine democracy, in which everyone could have access to all the information.

However, this much freedom worries the powerful. Just imagine that there was already a free Internet in 1991, when the US attacked Iraq. At that time, the US government, involving PR agencies, was making war propaganda to present Saddam Hussein as the new Hitler, so that the people in the West may advocate the war wanted by the US. A lot of lying was a lie, for example, the incubators were come up, who said that Iraqi soldiers in hospitals in Kuwait had torn and beaten the morning from the incubators and killed them. This was confirmed impressively, because a 16-year-old nurse from Kuwait told the story in tears before the US Senate. The images of the crying girl in the US Senate went around the world and the result was that the war against Saddam became socially acceptable in the West and worldwide.

The problem is that all this was lying. The story was fictitious and the "non nurse" was in fact the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador in Washington. But nobody knew that at that time, because there was no Internet in which one could quickly see who the girl was in truth. Today, everyone could disprove this story within ten minutes by searching for photos on the net and checking history.

Therefore, the US government was already thinking in the early 1990s about how to control the Internet and even use it as a weapon in the “information war” (one spoke of “conflicts in the information age”).
The Highland Forum

The Pentagon had already founded the Highland Forum in 1994, when ordinary people did not even know what the Internet was, the task of which was to analyze the dangers of the dawning information age and looking for ways to control the Internet. Its first formal meeting was held in February 1995. The project was financed by US Vice Defense Secretary responsible for intelligence and information control. It really exists, its official abbreviation is PDASD(C3I).

The DARPA was also on board from the beginning. DARPA is an Pentagon authority whose task it is to express itself to investigate science fiction. DARPA finances research projects that seem like science fiction, but can be used as weapons if successful. It is therefore not surprising that DARPA was involved from the outset when it came to the question of how the US government could control the Internet in the future and influence or even direct the flow of information there.

All this is not found on Wikipedia or in the “quality media”, after that. Then, for example, you will find a seminar paper from the Highland Forum. The seminar entitled “Seminar on Intelligence, Leadership, and Control” (“ Seminar on Intelligence, Command, and Control”) took place at Harvard University in December 2001, and the paper contains an information box where you can read all this.

The US intelligence agencies NSA and DIA and probably also the CIA were also involved in the work of the Highland Forum from the beginning.

The aim of the Highland Forum was to control the freedom of information of the Internet age. To do this, it is necessary to control what people learn, what they are displayed when searching on the net and so on. Today, Google primarily performs this task, which decides on its algorithms, what we are shown in a Google search or what we see on YouTube and what cannot be seen on YouTube either via shadow banning or deletion.

The US government set itself the goal of controlling the Internet in the 1990s, the Highlands Forum was founded and the U.S. intelligence services have also had a project called Massive Digital Data Systems (MDDS), which had the same goals as the Highlands Forum. We can only guess that known information that has happened in secret.
The foundation of Google

I have written a very detailed article about the establishment of Google and its very close ties to the US intelligence agency, which you will find here if you are interested. Today, I am not going into detail, but only report on the history of Google's founding.

While the Highland Forum was founded in 1994, two young students at Stanford University achieved a breakthrough in the so-called automated web crawling and page ranking application. The two students were later Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page and what they had developed is at the heart of the Google search engine.

It is undisputed that Sergey Brin's research was paid by the U.S. government. He had a scholarship from the National Science Foundation, a US government agency close to the Pentagon and the U.S. government. The scholarship from Brin and other scholarships, which people who later made a career in Silicon Valley, show that the US intelligence agencies were on board when they came up with the emergence of Internet companies from the very beginning and still maintain the best contacts in Silicon Valley today. With its ideas, the Highland Forum has laid the foundation for it.

Sergey Brin was one of those to whom the contacts were very intensively maintained. This is known, because computer science professor Bhavani Thuraisingham wrote in 2013 in an article that she headed a project called Massive Digital Data Systems (MDDS) for the US intelligence services in the 1990s. In her article she writes:

   “In fact, Google founder, Sergey Brin, was partly funded by this program when he was a PhD student at Stanford. He developed together with his advisor Prof. Jeffrey Ullman and my colleague at MITRE, Dr. Chris Clifton, the Query Flocks system that produced solutions for mining large amounts of data in databases. I remember Stanford with Dr. Rick Steinheiser from the Intelligence Community visited and stormed Brin on roller skates, held his presentation and rushed out again. Actually, Mr. demonstrated to us. Brin at our last meeting in September 1998 his search engine, from which soon became Google.”

On the 4th In September 1998, simultaneously with Brin's last presentation to the CIA people, Google was founded.
LifeLog

At the Highlands Forum, it was quickly recognized that the possibilities of the Internet go much further. In the early 2000s, DARPA had a program called LifeLog, whose goal was to create an all-encompassing electronic database with all the activities and relationships a human has. This should include all aspects of life (credit card purchases, websites visited, content of telephone calls, sent and received emails, scans of faxes sent and received, chat messages sent and received, books and magazines that include choice of television and radio broadcasts, GPS location and even more). The overall goal was to know every person so precisely that software can even predict what it would do in the future.

When the program became known in 2003, it triggered some whirlwinds and protests, which is why DARPA ended the program in 2004. The New York Times wrote about LifeLog in 2003:

   “The goal of LifeLog is to create a searchable database of human life, first of all those of the developer to promote artificial intelligence, the agency said. The technology would advance a new class of systems that are able to think in different ways, learn from experiences and “react robustly to surprises,” says the Information Processing Technology Office of the Authority.
   To achieve this, the office says, the system must index the details of everyday life and make it possible to “recognize the user’s routines, habits and relationships with other people, organizations, places and objects, and use these patterns to facilitate its task.”

At DARPA, there was also the Information Awareness Office (ILO) program, which was founded to search for all available characteristics of the citizens within a database and later evaluate them on patterns. The pretext for this was the fight against terrorism. When the programme became known and also protests arose, it was renamed Terrorist Information Awareness in 2003 because it sounds less like the surveillance of its own population. Although it is obvious that LifeLog and the ILO had the same goals and they fit together as mosaic pieces, the US government denied that LifeLog was an ILO subprogram.

The Highlands Forum is likely to have recognized in the 1990s that the Internet will enable people to be monitored around the clock in the future, when computers become portable and becomes part of everyday life, and the Internet is becoming mobile. You can see who they meet with, what they do, what events they attend, what they write in chats and so on. The first IPhones only appeared a good ten years later, but everything that was done at LifeLog and IAO shows that the development for such devices was forecast and planned for it ten years earlier. You certainly didn't know how exactly the technology would be and that there would be smartphones, but that there would be portable computers that become part of everyone's everyday life, you obviously expected that you were expecting and preparing for the use of these opportunities.

Today, Facebook collects exactly the data that LifeLog should collect: with whom we are friends, who we spend time with, which events we go, what interests we have, and so on. Together with Google's data about our search queries and which videos we watch on YouTube, everyone is already glass today, whether they want or not. Google knows about the GPS tracking exactly when you were where, everyone can check that on their phone in the settings of Google Maps.
The beginnings of Facebook

I have also written a detailed article about the founding of Facebook and its connections to the US intelligence assistance, which you can find here. As with Google, I limit myself to the most important facts on Facebook today.

In February 2004, it was reported that the LifeLog program had been discontinued. On the 13th The Facebook founders in Florida registered Thefacebook LLC. For tax reasons, on 29 October was founded on 29 The company TheFacebook Inc, which took over the original company, in Delaware, registered in Delaware. At this point, the Facebook founders around Marc Zuckerberg had already met the German-born Internet billionaire Peter Thiel, who immediately supported the new company Facebook financially, because it was already facing bankruptcy immediately after its founding. Since then, Thiel, who is also sitting in the steering committee of the Bilderberger Conference, has been on the boat on Facebook.

Peter Thiel has best connections to the CIA. He is one of the founders of Palantir. Palantir is an IT company that analyzes large amounts of data for intelligence agencies (big data). Palantir was founded in May 2003, which was only possible thanks to venture capital that Palantir received from the In-Q-Tel investment fund. In-Q-Tel is the CIA's venture capital fund, which invests in technologies that the CIA considers promising from a secret service point of view. In-Q-Tel is therefore a kind of counterpart of the CIA to the DARPA of the Pentagon, both secure access to future technologies that can be used for intelligence services or for the military.

Facebook then received all the support to grow quickly and overtake other, existing social networks. Facebook consistently ousted its competitors from the market. This would have been impossible without the support of Peter Thiel, who saved Facebook from bankruptcy. The growth of Facebook is similar to Google's story, which quickly suppressed the existing competitors after its inception.

Facebook and Google had very close contacts with the CIA and the Pentagon from their inception on in-Q-Tel and DARPA. As seen in the article linked above, Google is much more obvious, because the CIA has already financed the Google founders during their studies. But Facebook is also surprisingly thick, considering that LifeLog was discontinued in February 2004 and was founded only two months of Facebook and Peter Thiel, which was founded as a partner for the best in-Q-Tel.

Facebook, as we know today, is exactly what LifeLog should be: a data collection point that knows everything about the people who have registered there. This is currently almost three billion active users worldwide. And they disclose their data completely voluntarily and can be monitored voluntarily. This was certainly dreamed at LifeLog.
The Power of Facebook and Google

Facebook was quickly very good at evaluating and using its data. It did immediately what LifeLog should do. I do not know whether Facebook has benefited from Palantir's abilities. But as early as 2010 Facebook secretly influenced a US election as an experiment. From the data of its users Facebook knew which users are for which party. So Facebook sent the followers to one of the candidates news and reminded them to go to the election. This has made hundreds of thousands of voters go to the polls, who would otherwise have stayed at home, as Facebook reported in 2012.

It is remarkable that Facebook has never been punished for this or even criticised by the officials, considering what a fuss the US has been doing for some years, when it is said that someone is involved in US elections. If Facebook does this to test its influence on choices, it doesn't bother anyone in the US.

Google effectives controls the Internet, because through its algorithms, Google can sort the search results so that users only get to see what they are supposed to see. For example, in the course of the last US election campaign, Google wanted to sort the search results about Trump and Biden so that positive articles about Biden and negative articles about Trump are shown at the top of search results.

The role of YouTube, conveniently a Google subsidiary, is well known and YouTube even proudly proudly announced that it is deleting channels and videos for political reasons. And the political reasons are always exactly in line with the wishes and views of the US elites, which is another reference to Google's close interdependence with US intelligence.
The Twitter files

I have not yet done research about the beginnings of Twitter, but thanks to the Twitter files, it has been proven that Twitter has also implemented the wishes of the US intelligence services and the Pentagon. Whether the US intelligence services on Twitter – as with Facebook and Google – were on board from the very beginning or not, is therefore not decisive.

The Twitter files are a bigger scandal than Watergate, as the FBI – after all a U.S. government agency – exercises political censorship and influences (and probably decided) the US election campaign in 2020 for the challenger and the incumbent president, making it sure that all compromising information about Joe Biden has been censored and kept secret from the public.

The FBI has also intervened directly and sent Twitter employees lists of users and tweets to the Twitter employees that were to be censored. Sometimes there were even only satirical tweets. Polls have shown that about 20 percent of those who have chosen Biden who have voted would not have done so if they had known about the revelations about Hunter Biden's laptop and the corruption of the Biden clan. Since the FBI has had these revelations at least on Facebook and Twitter have been censored and thus hidden from the general public, the last US presidential election is likely to have turned out if the FBI had not intervened. A summary of the first five revelations of the Twitter files can be found here and the sixth reveal . In the seventh part of the revelations, it was shown in great detail how the FBI influenced Twitter.

Meanwhile it became known that the Pentagon also had a willing helper on Twitter, because in the eighth part of the Twitter files it was revealed that Twitter not only knowingly allowed the Pentagon to spread its (war) propaganda on Twitter worldwide with the help of fake accounts, but that Twitter even supported it, while at the same time Twitter has publicly declared it to strictly deleting state and covering accounts. Twitter has lied to the public for many years and actually supported the Pentagon and the US intelligence services in their propaganda and deleted both users and tweets for political reasons at their “wish” and deleted them.
The U.S. Elites' Cushmen's Power

The election of Donald Trump as US president was a “business accident” that shocked the elites in the US. You don't love Trump and I have criticised him harshly during his presidency for good reasons, but one boyfriend and foe cannot deny: Trump has his own head and cannot be directed. This is probably the most important reason why the elites have been and will be so fought by the elites in the US.

All Internet companies – and we now know who is directing them – have worked for Joe Biden for Joe Biden in the US 2020 election campaign. Google has manipulated its search results accordingly, much of what Trump said has been censored and withheld from the people.

Most importantly, all Internet companies have censored everything together, which became known via Hunter Biden's laptop in mid-October 2020. If there had been no such censorship, Joe Biden would not only have lost the election, as the polls show, but he and his family would have had to expect criminal proceedings. Nevertheless, the general public still knows nothing of all this, because not only the Internet companies have censored the issue, but the “quality media” have not really reported this to date. The damage that the US Democrats would have caused by a broad publication would hardly have been imaginable.

The US Democrats are implementing the policy that the US elites want, which is why the US Democrats had all possible support from the US authorities, as the coordinated intervention of US intelligence in the Trump election campaign shows. This is what is called a “deep state”: at the switching points of power, there are people in authorities who, if necessary, work against their own elected government to achieve goals of people who have never been elected. This happened to Trump when US intelligence worked against their own president and instead supported his highly corrupt (and as we officially know today, denied) challenger.

The US intelligence services, together with the Internet companies, have decided to choose, thus securing the power of the US elites.
Wikipedia and the US intelligence services

It has been known for some time that Wikipedia is not an online encyclopedia, but also a propaganda instrument of the US intelligence services. Some time ago I wrote a five-part series of articles, the first part can be found here, the following parts are linked to the article.

The fact that Wikipedia is an instrument of US intelligence services shows an interesting detail. While I would these lines on 23. December 2022, the Twitter files are not mentioned in the German Wikipedia article via Twitter. The people in Germany should not know about it, because for many who inform themselves on the Internet, Wikipedia is the point of contact point number one when searching for information. What is not mentioned in Wikipedia is therefore simply not known to most people. (note: This: Even today, i.e. 2024, you can find practically nothing about the Twitter files on Wikipedia)

By the same, the same applies to the English version of the Wikipedia article via Twitter, even there the revelations of the Twitter files are not mentioned with a word. Obviously, the public wants to conceal with all their might what the Twitter files have brought to light, namely that the Internet companies are nothing more than subsidiaries of the US intelligence services.

The fact that Wikipedia behaves like this and sings in the same chorus as the other US Internet companies does not come as a surprise, as we will see now.
Newsguard

The American company NewsGuard has made it its task to tell users which message pages are trustworthy in the browser through colour markings. NewsGuard has been monitoring the anti-mirror since 2019 and of course considers my work to be dubious.

Newsguard is another tool for US intelligence services, as you can see at their staff. Among others, there are Tom Ridge, the first US Minister for Homeland Security, a U.S. minister of a US intelligence service founded after 9/11. In addition, General Michael Hayden, former director of the CIA and former director of the NSA, who has become famous because it was he who publicly blew to hunt Edward Snowden, sits as a consultant at NewsGuard. And former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, who has founded a special foundation to support US policy internationally, should not be missing as an adviser at NewsGuard.

Many former US government employees are also based at NewsGuard: Don Baer was communications director of the White House under Bill Clinton; Arne Duncan was Minister of Education under Barrack Obama; Elise Jordan was a editor of US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

In addition, many loyal propagandists of US policy advisers are at NewsGuard, because they are represented by transatlantic journalists from various countries. For Germany, Alina Fichter, who worked for the “Zeit” and the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” sits there. For Italy there is Gianni Riotta, who writes for the Italian newspaper La Stampa, which represents the American narrative like no other Italian newspaper and has repeatedly attracted attention with very strange publications.

In addition, Richard Stengel is also a consultant at NewsGuard. Stengel is author of the book “Information Wars: How We Lost the Global Battle Against Disinformation and What We Can Do About It,” a book that wants to explain how to win the information war.

Like all other advisers of NewsGuard, Stengel is also a staple representative of the U.S. narrative and Newsguard is one of the countless instruments of U.S. intelligence services that are intended to hammer the wanted narratives (the US is great and democratic, US wars bring democracy and human rights, NATO is peaceful, US billionaires want to save the world as “philanthropists” the world, etc.) into the heads of the people.

You are wondering what this has to do with Wikipedia?

It's simple: Jimmy Wales, co-founder of Wikipedia, is also an advisor to NewsGuard. So it's not surprising that Wikipedia doesn't find anything critical about important topics for the USA and that the Twitter files are not even mentioned on Wikipedia.

The US intelligence services have done a great job, because the network of companies and foundations with which they direct global public opinion does not end with the Internet companies and the examples mentioned in this article. Whether it will be possible to drain this swamp is probably a decisive issue for the future of the whole world in the coming years.

Addendum 2024: The US and EU struggle against the last independent platforms on the net shows that it is rather questionable that this swamp is being drained. The arrest of Pavel Durov confirms this.

His mistake was to leave Russia, which at the time demanded of it only access to chats by terrorists who have carried out terrorist attacks in Russia. He felt this as a repression and fled to the “free West”, although he was not even threatened with a real punishment in Russia.

It could be said ironically that we can now wait for Elon Musk to apply for asylum in Russia, or arrested in a western country for the same reasons as Durow.

It is being reported that the deputy commander of the 114th tactical aviation brigade (Ivano-Frankivsk), Lieutenant Colonel Alexey Mes was killed. He is supposedly one of the F-16 pilots.

He was likely killed on August 26 at an airfield in the Ivano-Frankivsk region which came under Russian missile fire.

in Jenin and Tulkarm by demolishing access roads and setting up barriers around them.
This operation, the largest since the second intifada in the West Bank, has resulted in many casualties.
The operation is conducted under full aerial cover, including drones,
and involves the Shin Bet (Home Security Service), border police, and special forces.

I just spoke to the Pentagon Press Office and they told me this is NOT a U.S. Plane. I then asked if it was a Coalition Partner plane and she said she could not tell me. Not sure if she didn't know or if she is concealing.

Iran: Ansarullah has agreed to establish a temporary ceasefire for the arrival of aid ships

Iran's representation in the United Nations announced that Yemen's Ansarullah has agreed to establish a temporary ceasefire for the entry of tugboats and rescuers in the region.
A ship under the Greek flag named "Sounion" which had violated the ban on entering the occupied Palestinian ports, caught fire a few days ago during the missile and drone operation of Ansarullah.
