Egyptian Foreign Minister's to the UN Security Council on the developments of the Ethiopian dam: Egypt is almost entirely dependent on the Nile River for its renewable water resources, which are indispensable for meeting the vital humanitarian needs and basic rights of Egyptians. Although the Nile River has experienced successive flood seasons above average in recent years, which has relatively protected Egypt from serious damage, the continuation of Ethiopian policies, as announced by the Ethiopian PM on August 26, 2024, could pose an existential threat to Egypt, as well as the rights and interests of 150 million citizens in the two downstream countries, and thus jeopardize regional and international peace and security. After exhausting all peaceful means, including repeatedly resorting to the Security Council, in the hope of convincing Ethiopia to desist from its illegal unilateral policies and accept any of the existing compromises that balance the interests and rights of all parties, the Government of Egypt is ready to exercise its right to defend and protect the rights and interests of the Egyptian people, in accordance with the United Nations Charter. defence of Dnipro does not work. it just gives russian federation stable frontline (Dnipro river) where russians do not have to deploy a lot of troops and then russian federation can attack from russian - Ukrainian border and from belarus. Why would russians try to cross the river if they can attack from sea (Odessa) or through land (russian ukraine border and belarus)?

It does not make sense.....

ukraine will panic. there are 2 options. either NATO enters (and we all are in WW3 officially) or ukraine cease to exist. And time for decision is running out. Once the collapse spreads on the entire front, entrance of NATO will become impossible. Because rouge units of Ukraine army will start shooting at NATO troops. among other things.

In a statement, the Izmir governor's office said members of the Turkey Youth Union (TGB), a youth branch of the nationalist opposition Vatan Party, "physically attacked" two U.S. soldiers dressed in civilian clothes in the Konak district.

Earlier, the TGB posted a video on X showing a group holding down a man on the street and putting a white hood over his head, while shouting slogans.
The group said the man was a soldier on board the USS Wasp, an amphibious assault ship. The U.S. Embassy in Ankara had said earlier on Monday that the ship was carrying out a port visit to the Aegean coastal town of Izmir this week.

"U.S. soldiers who carry the blood of our soldiers and thousands of Palestinians on their hands cannot dirty our country. Every time you step foot in these lands, we will meet you the way you deserve," TGB said.

Swedish instructors were in the building in poltava. they were there to teach Ukraine army (air force) how to use Saab 340 AEW&C early warning airborne radar. Unconfirmed information is that they are all dead.
