This week marks one year since eight former and current officials and leaders of Artsakh were illegally taken captive by Azerbaijan.
These leaders are currently held in Baku, awaiting trial on a range of falsified criminal charges.
Among those imprisoned are
former Artsakh State Minister Ruben Vardanyan;
the second, third, and fourth presidents of the Republic of Artsakh
—Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, and Arayik Harutyunyan;
