— NEW: An Armenian station picked up last night's 4.6 Richter scale seismic event in Iran

According to the Armenian researchers, it lacks a seismic compressional wave, making the event more consistent with an explosion than an earthquake.

The first image shows Iran's seismic event last night, which happened in the Kavir desert near a town called Aradan. The other images compare seismic vibrations from earthquakes vs nuclear tests; the Iranian seismic event looks more like an underground nuclear test than an earthquake. One tell-tale sign is that there was not a single 'after shock'.

There is no conclusive evidence yet. But this is starting to look more and more interesting. Just yesterday, prominent Iranian politicians said Iran needs to establish a 'new grade of deterrence', possibly referring to nuclear weapons.

If it's correct that this was a nuclear test, I'd say that Iran has probably had a nuclear capability for some time and, like Israel, has kept it quiet.

As the region is now on the brink of war, which will be triggered by an Israeli attack, Iran has decided now is the time to send a powerful message to the US and Israel.

If all of the above turns out to be correct, it could be argued that Iran just prevented WWIII from breaking out in the ME.

Of course, it could all just be bollocks.

Plutonium-239 contains the highest quantities of fissile material, and is notably one of the primary fuels used in nuclear weapons. In nuclear weapon design, the pit is the core of an implosion nuclear weapon, consisting of fissile material and any neutron reflector or tamper bonded to it. When plutonium particles are inhaled, they lodge in the lung tissue. The alpha particles can kill lung cells, which causes scarring of the lungs, leading to further lung disease and cancer.

to put it simply. if plutonium-239 is used in a device, and it is scattered in the surrounding area, it will be blown by wind on a wide area. one particle of plutonium-239 can cause cancer. there is at least 4-5 kg of plutonium-239 in the device. of course, it depends on device and yield. (yield = how big is a boom.) and it stays in the air for 24,100 years.

and this is a reason for delay on the part of israel. Now israel is in a completely different position. there is no point in targeting nuclear sites in iran because it is obvious they already have nuke(s). which means that targeting nuclear sites has no effect if iran will or will not make their own device.

Also, there is no point in threatening iran with nuclear weapons because that threat can be reciprocated. you hit us, we hit you....jews are cowards, they will never risk their own lives.

also, there is now a problem with the USA. if USA will take part in attack on iran USA can be targeted with nuclear weapons that iran posses. There's not much difference between an intercontinental ballistic missile and a satellite launcher. and Iran has been launching satellites from 2005. which means iran has technology for ICBMs. which means USA can be targeted. now, of course, it is a question on number and power of nuclear devices that iran has.....but there is capability.
