Sounds delusional as most people in that area are Arabs, Turkmen and Assyrians not Kurds and they will never accept it or vote to separate from Syria. My guess is Assad will turn the Arab SDF against the Kurdish SDF and weapons will be smuggled to them from Turkey, Iraq and Assad controlled areas especially around Tabqa and Raqqa as Assad can get to those areas without having to cross the Euphrates.
