I just found quite interesting reading. While ago I discussed this topic on the other forum. Several times actually. Many know informations written below too. On the other forum NATO/globalist propaganda loudmouths denied such facts very fiercely, called them Kremlin propaganda etc. The talk is about Chechen wars in Russia. There is a publication called "Faith, Unity, Discipline: The Inter-Service-Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan" (thanks to @Edourdoo). At pages 125,126 there is mentioned, except ISI's participation in Balkan conflicts (there was about 4k jihadists in Kosovo from Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia etc.), ISI's and US participation in Chechen war. Literally there is mentioned that the both named parties secretly supported jihadist uprising. US considered that support as good idea because jihadists were proven effective in Afghanistan and in the 90's Americans attepmted to deal another blow to Moscow.

Putin Vows to Defend Believers in Ukraine Church Dispute
Russia vowed on Friday to defend Russian church believers in Ukraine from any illegal activity against them following Kiev's moves towards a historic split from the Russian Orthodox Church.
Ukraine wants to establish a national church, free from its traditional ties to Russia, which it says is a vital step to tackling Russian meddling in its affairs. Moscow opposes the move, arguing it would cause a schism in Orthodox Christianity.
The Kremlin's comments could inflame tensions between Kiev and Moscow, whose relations collapsed following Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014 and the outbreak of a Moscow-backed separatist insurgency in eastern Ukraine.
Critics of Ukraine's plan for an independent church say it could lead to violence and forced takeovers of churches loyal to the Russian Orthodox Church.
