Similary as in the case of "pastor" Brunson. I think there is another American jailed in Turkey, yet the state department doesn't care about him at all. I can't even find hiis name as the case is not even mentioned in the msm.

Either they hand areas back to syrian army and join army or be destroyed by Turkey for all the talk of protecting Kurds no way America will go to war with second biggest Nato army for Kurds who are only 8% of Syria. The Arab tribes of Manbij, Raqqa and deir ezzor will probably overrun kurds once America is gone anyway.

Trump again falsely claims that Iran is having bigger protests ("riots") than "they've ever had before." The protests in the past year aren't nearly as big as the 2009 "Green Revolution" protests, let alone the Islamic Revolution

Trump on Iran’s role in Syria: “they can do what they want there, frankly”
The other day I posted a response to a comment about the goings-on in the USA and how changes in US Policy are taking place regarding ISRAEL because of who it has been that has been making life a living hell for Donald Trump. That message, "disappeared" off this site very shortly after it posted.
So here we are just a few days later and President Trump says Iran can "do what they want there (in Syria) frankly"
Think about that for just a moment. Think about what that means to ISRAEL. If you have any understanding of the region at all, it means big trouble.
These changes to US policy in Syria and now, with regard to Iran in Syria, are happening because certain members of an identifiable group in the US have been the worst source of trouble for President Trump. He's had enough of them and if they don't stop the shit they're doing, I personally think Trump will let their precious Israel burn.

Russia says idea behind #US withdrawal 'gambit' has yet to be found https://aml.ink/GUOOL #Syria
I do not speak for the United States or for our President Donald Trump, I speak only for myself. In my personal view, the idea behind the "gambit" of American withdrawal from Syria (and likely Afghanistan and Yemen) is simple: A certain ethnic/religious group has been a complete, vicious opponent of PResident Trump since he was elected. This particular, identifiable group, has not only opposed Trumps Presidency, they have done everything possible to thwart, disrupt and harm his agenda.
So the US "gambit" is, I think, a retaliation against that particular ethnic/religious group. I think it sends a message to that group: You can keep doing what you're doing to Trump . . . . and Trump will let Israel burn by pulling US forces out of the Middle East, and forcing Israel to fend for itself.
I mean, think about it: Senators Feinstein and Schumer . . . . Congressmen Schiff, Nadler, Hoyer and so on. Those names aren't Irish names!
Even from elsewhere on the left, ferocious critics like Rob Reiner from Hollywood, not to mention people like Bill Kristol from media. All Jewish. ALL OF THEM.
Maybe the US "gambit" is not a gambit at all; maybe it's bare knuckles politics from a President who has done everything he could to kiss their ass, only to have it shoved up his own ass time and time again.
Just my thoughts . . .
Well, I see it quite differently. Regarding current Trump's latest statements it's nothing more than jibber jabber I believe. Trump is zionist christian, his family is zionist christian and he just gave $38bil of your taxes to the zionists. He just signed the law, that was actually prepared by Obama - one of the biggest Trump's enemies - so he just extended policies of previous government. Also, do not forget that Trump's government wovs to protect Israel regardless US withdrawal.
Trump, as usually, makes incoherent remarkes about numerous topics and issues because either he just wants to fool others, including his supporters, or because he just knows shit about shit. Just bear in mind some facts as, regardless Trump's words, there is no withdrawal of US troops from Syria in effect. Now he even denied 4 month timetable. To afghanistan, even more US troops will be deployed. And, at last but not least, if there will be some withdrawal from Syria then, very likely, it gonna be done only after they will be replaced by some kind of GCC forces. It has nothing to do with change of policy, it's just a shell game. Distraction from the fact that is there's no change at all. As another example I can name Trump's govt. support for MEK terrorists. The same MEK terrorists, who were taken out from the list of terrorist groups by Obama's administration. Trump's best buddies, Giuliani and Bolton, spoke on the meetings of this cult for money long time ago. Now they are one of the most important tools against Iran for the Trump's government. It's all the same gang, up on the Hill...

Does anyone have any old footage of Trumps opinions on Israel? Something tells me if he wins a second term he will cut off the billions they give Israel every year as he won't have to pander for the zionist evangelical vote anymore.

TODAY marked exactly 3 MONTHS since the Khashoggi murder.
• The investigation is stalled due to lack of Saudi cooperation
• A well inside the residence couldn’t be searched
• Saudis don’t share info on suspects
My 1st article for @MiddleEastEye

Presidential candidate Donald Trump said “I love Wikileaks,” on the campaign trail. Back then, Trump praised Wikileaks for promoting transparency.
In fact, Trump 'loved' Wikileaks so much he mentioned the organization more than 140 times in the final month of his campaign!

The American people elected Trump because they were looking to him to "drain the swamp" that Wikileaks had exposed.
Assange has been in solitary confinement in the Ecuadorian embassy for more than 6 years. Though the original charges have been dropped against him...

...Assange remains in the Embassy for fear of being extradited to the US for prosecution. His "crime"? Publishing things the government does not want us to know.
Now that Trump is president, he has the power to do something good. Assange is a journalist who needs to be pardoned!
