I expect Turkey to attack Tal Abyad and border areas east of the river quickly before they are handed over as well as the FSA may start attacking Turkey if they allow Assad to capture those areas. Also the YPG are known to fly other flags to stop attacks so ill wait until I actually see video of Syrian soldiers in the city.

It's all been so very fast-moving in recent hours and days hasn't it? Could be an interesting day but as you say, let's wait for video or more "official" confirmation.

Yep No way Turkey has done this massive build up for nothing my guess is Turkey and Russia will allow the Syrian army to take Manbij as it is the only city west of the Euphrates the YPG controls and i think they both want the YPG gone from area. What happens East of Euphrates is a different ball game as America will still bomb the syrian army when it tries to cross the Euphrates and i think the real reason Turkey is invading is because it wants that cheap oil again that isis was selling it.

Tehran thinks Ankara putting real pressure on the Kurds would probably work. In other words, either the Kurds — under the pressure of Ankara’s threats of military intervention — will finally agree to a compromise with Assad, or Turkey will go ahead with the military option.
