Then, we have this "Special Session": of the Russian Duma today, with word that some type of big statement is coming out from them, to all the world, regarding what's going on in Ukraine . . . .

So as I type this message, it is 3:00 PM here on the US east coast, which translates to about 10:00 PM Moscow time and , , , , no big statement. Just total quiet.

Did I miss something or has no statement come out?

Vladimir Putin decided to increase the Russian army by 137,000 servicemen to 1.15 million personnel, per the decree dated August 25. Putin also ordered to allocate money for this from the federal budget. The changes should come into effect in 2023.

Everything else was left behind the closed doors.
