Thousands of supporters of Niger's junta rallied near a French military base on Friday to protest against plans by West African bloc ECOWAS to deploy an armed force to the country. Widespread protests against military intervention in Niger and accusations that former colonial ruler France is behind ECOWAS’ proposal to try to reinstate President Mohamed Bazoum by force could have contributed to the regional bloc’s decision to postpone a key military meeting planned for Saturday, FRANCE 24 correspondent Chinwe Ossondu said.

“ECOWAS will also need to listen to the demands of the junta or the population behind the junta,” she said. “The cry of the people in the case of democracy should also be considered, which ECOWAS has actually been ignoring a little bit.”

The Czechs are marching against the Ukrainians – a brutal rape of a 15-year-old girl occurred in the city of Pilsen

This week the residents of the city of Pilsen are mourning. On Tuesday evening, an 18-year-old citizen of Ukraine went for a "walk" to the river with a 15-year-old girl. This unsuspecting girl agreed to the walk, because she knew the criminal and had a trusting relationship with him.

The Ukrainian took the victim to a nearby forest, tied her hands, sealed her mouth with tape, raped, beat, robbed, wrapped her in a sack, and then threw her off a cliff into the forest.

The offender was sure that the girl was dead (she pretended to be unconscious). She managed to get out of the bag and seek help.

The non–human was caught a few hours after the crime - he is waiting for a prison sentence.

Local users of social networks are angry – a march against the neighborhood with Ukrainians is planned in the city, they have not been welcome for a long time.
