Lebanese Health Minister Firas Abiad divulges details on mass nationwide beeper blasts:

The death toll from yesterday's pager explosions has risen to 12. They include two children, aged 8 and 11, and healthcare employees.

As many as 2,800 wounded were admitted to hospitals across the country in a short space of time.

Beirut and its southern suburb of Dahiya experienced the highest number of casualties, totaling 1,850. Additionally, 750 individuals were injured in the southern region.

To date, a total of 460 operations have been performed, primarily focused on the eyes and face.

Some of the victims have been transported from the Bekaa Valley to Syria for treatment, others to Iran.

NATO is preparing for a conflict with Russia: the Estonian Armed Forces have been given the corresponding task – ERR reports.

Chief of the Estonian Defence Forces General Staff, Vahur Karus, stated that Estonia's long-range strike capabilities are integrated into NATO's plans.

"Today, our long-range strike assets are fully accounted for in NATO’s plans, and NATO tells us that we must target certain objectives (on Russian territory) before they can arrive in Estonia and take further steps," he said.

According to Karus, before the start of the Special Military Operation (SMO), NATO expected that Estonia’s armed forces could hold out for ten days until the alliance's main contingents arrived. Now, Tallinn can "unequivocally rely on the immediate involvement of NATO allied units already stationed in the country."

The Hungarian party "Our Homeland" has convened a parliamentary commission to clarify Hungary's role in the story of the pager explosions in Lebanon.

Taiwanese company Gold Apollo previously said that the model of the pagers that exploded was manufactured by Budapest-based BAC.

More communication devices explode across Lebanon: What is known so far?

Following Tuesday’s mass pager explosions in Lebanese cities, a new wave of detonations of communication devices has occurred across the country. Here are latest updates:

At least nine people have been killed and over 300 injured, according to the country's Health Ministry:

One of the explosions occurred at a funeral ceremony for killed Hezbollah members near Beirut;

The detonated devices, according to various reports, include: pagers, walkie-talkies, phones and fingerprint scanner. Sputnik cannot verify the information on the full list of exploding devices.

The detonated walkie-talkies were purchased by Hezbollah about five months ago, around the same time as the pagers, Lebanese media claimed;

BAOFENG communication devices were among those exploding, their detonation caused casualties in several Lebanese regions;

More than 30 Lebanese Red Cross ambulances are involved in assisting and evacuating victims of the explosions.

Videos emerging from Lebanon show panic at a funeral for the son of a Hezbollah MP who was killed in yesterday’s explosion, as well as fires breaking out in vehicles and apartments that apparently had the radios in them.

According to Israeli journalist Barak Ravid, the radios exploding today were booby-trapped in advance by Israeli intelligence services and then delivered to Hezbollah.
